Visual Designer
Visual Designer at Propel Money
What we’re looking for
- Being the first🥇 member of the design team, you will work on a category defining Fintech product.
- While visual Design is the primary expected skill, being the first design team member means a bit of UX, IxD, research and strategy is also required.
- It is an opportunity and responsibility in equal parts to build the product, the culture and the company.

Responsibilities
- Create visual interfaces for Propel Money mobile apps, responsive web apps and responsive websites
- Identify and create micro interactions/transitions/gestures for each product/website you’re designing
- Participate in overall strategy through design, prototyping and research
- Create user journeys, wireframes, and visual design for web/mobile applications
- Improve user experience by measuring various metrics and iterating over the design
- Create promotional content, visualizations and infographics
- Create scalable design systems & component libraries
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a UX/Visual designer
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience of designing consumer facing mobile and web applications
- Expert knowledge of design tools like Figma or Sketch or Photoshop etc.
- Organized and self-sufficient
- Degree / Bachelors in Arts or Design is preferred

Full Stack Developer
Full Stack Developer at Propel Money
What we’re looking for
- Being the first🥇 member of the development team (other than founders), you will work on a category defining Fintech product.
- While the stack mentioned below is the primary expected skill, being the first development team member means learning other tools, technologies and programming languages is also required.
- It is an opportunity and responsibility in equal parts to build the product, the culture and the company.

Responsibilities
- Write clean, good quality (bug free) and extensible code. Write test cases and perform unit testing
- Work with the founding CTO to take ownership of entire tech stack
- Develop new features and enhance existing features
- Fix bugs in existing features
- Participate in overall strategy through architecture, software design, prototyping and research
- Help manage our cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Improve product by measuring various metrics and using the data as input to development
- Integrate 3rd party libraries and APIs for a variety of purposes from analytics to retrieving user’s financial data etc.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a full stack developer
- Extensive hands on experience in: React.js, .Net core, javascript, C#, AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lightsail, etc.)
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience of developing consumer facing web applications
- Organized and self-sufficient
- Degree / Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering is preferred
